Enjoy seasonal flavors this summer with a fresh salad that's easy to prepare and super delicious! Simply grill some fresh plums, fragrant red onions, and combine everything with arugula and a quick vinaigrette based on GOYA® Extra Virgin Olive Oil sweetened with honey. For the final touch, sprinkle Spanish Manchego cheese and crispy toasted hazelnuts on top ... taran taran, an applause salad!

  1. Heat the grill over medium heat. Combine the plums, onions, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and 1 teaspoon of Adobo in a medium-sized bowl. Put the plums and onions on the grill racks or barbecue already hot. Roast the prunes by turning once until they are toasted on the outside and tender and cooked, about 4 minutes. Roast the onions by turning once until crisp and tender, about 8 minutes. Take the plums and onions off the grill and put them on a cutting board until they have cooled down a bit and can be worked with. Cut the plums into wedges lengthwise. Cut the sides of the roots of the onions so they are separated into strips and set aside
  2. In a large bowl, mix the vinegar, chopped chipotle peppers, the sauce of the marinated chilies, honey, the remaining 3 tablespoons of olive oil and the ½ teaspoon of the remaining Adobo. Sprinkle on the arugula, prunes and onions until everything is covered with the dressing. Sprinkle with Manchego cheese and hazelnuts.
