For a tropical twist on this classic Mexican cocktail, try this Frozen Mango Margarita! In this recipe, GOYA® Frozen Mango Pulp (100% natural mango fruit pulp) is mixed with the traditional Margarita mix of tequila, lime juice and orange liqueur. Whip up a few margaritas at your next “adults only” party and share this refreshing frozen cocktail with friends and family.

  • 1.5 cups ice cubes
  • 0.75 cup white tequila (100% agave)
  • 0.5 cup of Mango Fruit Pulp
  • 0.25 cup lime juice
  • 0.25 cup orange liqueur, such as
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Optional

  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation

  1. If you choose to use salt, pour it into a small dish, mix with a pinch of cayenne pepper, so that the salt is flecked with red. Dampen the rims of the margarita glasses with a damp towel; then dip the glasses in the salt mixture, tapping out the excess.
  2. In a blender bowl, add ice cubes, tequila, Mango Pulp, Lemon Juice, orange liqueur and sugar. Blend until the mixture is combined and the ice is crushed, about 1 minute. 
  3. Pour frozen margaritas into glasses and serve immediately.
