Rations:

Para la receta

  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoons cumin powder
  • 2 tablespoons ground oregano
  • 0.5 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of GOYA Unico olive oil
  • 1 kg chicken breasts
  • 1 pinch of Adobo with GOYA pepper
  • 1 package of Wheat Totillas

Para el aderezo

  • 1 avocados complete
  • 1 fresh coriander
  • 1 lettuce complete
  • 1 lemon complete
  • 1 white onion
  • 1 tomato complete

Preparation

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the tomato sauce, vinegar, garlic, chili powder, cumin, oregano, and sugar. Season with the marinade and let stand.
  2. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken with the marinade. Cook chicken for about 5 minutes, turn once, until golden brown on both sides. Add tomato sauce mixture to skillet; bring to a boil (be careful, tomato sauce may splash). Lower the heat to medium low. Cover the skillet and simmer for about 20 minutes or until chicken is well cooked, turning once (thermometer should register 50 ° C when inserted into thickest part of breast).
  3. Transfer chicken to cutting board; leaving the sauce in the pan. Remove and discard bones and skin. Using two forks, crumble the chicken. Transfer the chicken to the pan with sauce, mix well, and continue cooking for about 10 more minutes, until the sauce is reduced and mixes with the chicken, so that the mixture begins to caramelize.
  4. Transfer the chicken mixture to the serving plate. Put the mixture on the hot corn tortillas. Accompany with lettuce, tomatoes, avocados and / or onion, to taste. Add hot sauce, if desired.
