Meatballs are one of those traditional recipes that brings up childhood memories when our grandmothers cooked for us, right? Enjoy this delicious homemade meatballs and share them with those you love!

Rations:

For the meatballs

  • 700 gr of minced beef
  • 2 big eggs
  • 2 garlic clove
  • 70 ml of milk
  • 30 ml of white wine
  • 20 gr of breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon of minced fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of black pepper
  • 200 gr of wheat flour
  • 3 tablespoons of of GOYA Unico olive oil

For the tomato sauce

  • 600 gr of homemade tomato sauce
  • 1 big onion
  • 2 big garlics
  • 3 tablespoons of of GOYA Unico olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of oregano
  • 1 tablespoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of salt

Preparation

  1. First the tomato sauce has to be prepared. In a big pan or pot, we add the Extra Virgin Olive Oil Goya in a medium-low fire and when it is hot we add the onion and the minced garlic. 
  2. Fry the garlics and the onions during 10 or 15 minutes on medium-low heat. Later, we add the tomato sauce, the spices and salt. Cook everything together for 30 minutes slow cooked and reserve. 
  3. For the meatballs, we place the chopped beef in a bowl. In a blender we add the white wine, the milk, the garlic cloves, breadcrumbs, the fresh parsley, the salt and the pepper. We mix them all together, put together the mixture and the mix and we let sit for 10 or 15 minutes so the meat is well impregnated. 
  4. We make the meatballs and we pass them through bitted egg, wheat flour and breadcrumbs. 
  5. When we have all the meatballs ready we place them in a pan with three or four tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil on high fire. When the oil is hot, we fry them until they are ready. 
  6. As last step, we add the meatballs in the pot were we have the tomato sauce and we let them cook for 20 minutes before serving.
