GOYA EUROPA presents its Sales Strategy 2020

This first Commercial Convention has taken place in the delegation of Seville (Spain)

GOYA EUROPA has recently held its first Commercial Convention of 2020. The meeting took place on February 20th and 21st in Alcalá de Guadaira (Seville). This event has gathered around one hundred people considering managers and representatives of all the Spanish commercial departments and the Exportation team.

The entire Commercial Convention has been held under the slogan ‘We are just starting’. Together with the help of our General Director William Unanue, the team has analyzed the achievements of 2019. Each area of the company has been able to share a presentation focused on its objectives to keep meeting the needs of the customers in a growing market as Spain. Those departments were Purchasing, Logistics, Marketing, Export, Consumer Products, T&T and Horeca. 

Throughout each intervention, the strategy that will make our company remain the best Latin American products seller worldwide was established. 

It should be noted that the Sales Area has presented the new Commercial Management Model, whose objective is the modernization of the systems in order to continue offering an excellent treatment to our customers. This mission goes hand in hand with our periodic training programs for the Commercial Team: not only regarding our product development, but also in utilities and specialization. 

The Logistics part has also had great relevance in this meeting, since it faces new challenges in order to improve the service we currently provide to our customers.

Another point that has been highlighted is the implementation of an intelligent warehouse for the facilities we own in Casarrubios del Monte (Toledo, Spain). This allows complete control of the supply chain, thanks to the management of the entry and exit of merchandise. Through this improvement, internal resources are now optimized and we gain in efficiency which is an effect that is immediately reflected in our customer service.

The Marketing team has also been crucial, because they have presented to the entire company the action plans that will take place in advertising, as well as the Communication strategy

In the same way as with the other departments, we must emphasize the excellent work carried out by the entire team of the delegation of Seville. They are conquering part of the world with Goya Olive Oils: one of our flagship products with a great future forecast.

All these objectives would be difficult to achieve if it were not for the hard teamwork of all those who are part of the GOYA family and of course without the clients that choose us every single day.
