Last weekend the climbing wall installed in the IFEMA enclosure, in Madrid, on the occasion of the celebration of the Fair of Nature, Climate and Sustainable Tourism, Expotural, has hosted the third and final round of the Spanish Cup of Difficulty 2018. The Spanish Federation of Mountain Sports and Climbing (FEDME) has co-organized the competition with CLIMBAT and ENTRE-PRISES – two of the most prestigious brands in the world of climbing – and as it has not once again had the collaboration of GOYA EUROPA and its products such as coconut water GOYA.
The competition has been divided into two days. On Saturday it was the turn of the youngest climbers, that is, those belonging to the three youth categories (sub 16, sub 18 and sub 20), with a total of 119 participants. On Sunday the protagonists were the boys of the absolute category of men and women, who had more than 30 climbers.
The girls belonging to the juvenile female category have faced each other in two different modalities, one in the Boulder style and the other in resistance, more like a rock route. With regard to the masculine category, the climbers have completed a very technical day with a spectacular final dynamic, which only three climbers were able to complete it.
